Electrician wiring a new main electrical panel on a stucco wall
Electrical panel upgrades · Los Angeles County

Power for the modern home.

200-amp panel upgrades that make room for EV chargers, heat pumps, induction cooking, solar and new additions.

Panel upgrades

The upgrade behind the upgrades.

Many older Los Angeles homes still run on 100-amp panels or less. That is not enough for an EV charger, a heat pump, an induction range or a new ADU, and overloaded panels are a real safety concern.

We replace the main panel and meter section, add the circuits you need, pull the permit and coordinate the shutoff and reconnection with the utility.

Do I need a panel upgrade for an EV charger?
Often, yes, especially on a 100-amp panel. We check your current panel and loads and tell you what is needed.
How long is the power off?
Usually most of one day. The utility disconnects and reconnects service, and we schedule it with them in advance.
