Finished paver driveway next to artificial turf
Pavers & hardscape · Los Angeles County

Pavers built on a real base.

Paver patios, walkways, side yards and driveways that stay flat and drain properly for years.

Pavers

Flat today. Flat in ten years.

We dig out to the right depth, lay and compact base in lifts, screed the bedding sand, set the pavers and edge restraints, then compact and sand the joints.

Drains go in before the pavers, and the whole surface is sloped away from the house so water goes where it should.

  • Excavation to depth
  • Layered, compacted base
  • Built-in drains
  • Polymeric sand joints

Side yards

The most useful strip of the yard.

Side yards are often dirt, weeds and puddles. Pavers with a built-in drain turn them into clean, usable space for trash bins, AC units and access to the backyard.

Driveways & borders

Wider drive, better entry.

Paver borders and extensions widen a driveway and connect it to the front walk, often without tearing out the existing concrete.

Pavers or concrete?
Pavers cost more up front but resist cracking, are easy to repair and look more finished. Concrete is less expensive for large plain areas. See concrete work.
Will weeds grow between the pavers?
A proper base, weed barrier where needed and polymeric sand in the joints keep weeds to a minimum.
